SBA Administrator Visits Business of YEP Participant

During a recent visit by SBA Deputy Administrator, Marie Johns, our program was asked to arrange a meeting with a local young entrepreneur. We selected Ryan Poortinga of San Diego Sky Tours, who was one of the first YEP Business Plan Competition winners and who’s business has really taken off. Mr.s Johns visited Ryan at his place of business and that visit and subsequent national press release by the SBA led to an article in the Washington Post.
